Huish Episcopi Academy has been getting into the Olympic spirit after one of Team GB's elite athletes dropped by.
Tim Kneale is the current world record holder in double trap shooting, who took time out of his preparations for next year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro to talk to Year 7 PE pupils.
Mr Kneale delivered an assembly, relaying his journey from humble beginnings on the Isle of Man to competing with elite athletes.
He decided to concentrate on shotting after fracturing his leg at the age of 18 - an injury which curtailed his hopes of playing rugby.
The assembly was followed by a Q&A session before Mr Kneale showed off his medals.
Head of PE Tracy Rose said: "This was an insprational visit and students thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
"We wish Tim every success in the coming Rio Games and hope to see him back at Huish soon."
